Find your muse. Visualizing a peaceful place … an image of water, serene blues touched with sunlight works for me. My favorite image is a picture when I was in Monaco. I remember being breath taken as I looked out onto a vast expanse of beautiful blue water. You do not have to travel to far lands to find this image. You can simply look out the window, find a beautiful image on the internet or light a scented candle and lose yourself in the flame and alluring aroma.
The point is to slowdown, and to be one in body, spirit and mind. In this world of multi-tasking, I realize this may be hard. So be patient and gentle with yourself.

Lose yourself in the beautiful blue expanse of Monaco. You are no longer in your current setting, you may be in the boat, swimming in the blue water, looking out onto water from a bird’s eye view as I was at the time. Choose your place and be passionate about it.
Look out onto the horizon… Notice the shades of blue. Perhaps you are on one of the white boats in the marina? Find beauty in the green covered cliff jutting out into the port. Notice the sunlight as it shines on the melon orange rooftops.
What does it feel like? Perhaps you feel the heat of the sun on your skin, the water laden sea air or gentle warm breeze?
Conjure the sounds… Do you hear waves or stillness? Perhaps you hear the quiet hum of boats moving across the water creating ripples in the sea
Can you taste the salt of the water on your lips?
The point is to truly experience the photo … use all of the five senses. Or connect with whatever sense you can. Escape the business of everyday life for at least a few minutes and find yourself.
